About Us

a black mother named Tanaka Adeyemo holding her child

Meet the Founder...

Hi everyone, my name is Tanaka and that beautiful little girl I'm holding is none other than Rudorwaishe herself.

I started the business with the intention of helping families of the African Diaspora pass on their linguistic heritage to the next generation. As such, we provide educational materials and toys for children, that help you on that journey of language sharing and support families in feeling connected to their cultures.

My ambition is that by using the resources together with loved ones, a safe space is created within homes where dialogue can start to develop with the younger generation about parts of who they are and where they come from.

Social Impact

Giving back is extremely important to us and so we have a focus on giving to charities, non-profit organisations as well as underprivileged children and families. The team work together to pick a cause to donate to regularly. The most recent donation has been to a charitable organisation in Zimbabwe called 'With Love Foundation' who run a soup kitchen that feeds a lot of children within the capital Harare.

If you would  like to donate to the cause without making a purchase you can do so by clicking the link below.
