Rudorwaishe offers a range of flashcards and educational resources for various African languages. We currently offer all resources in Asante Twi, Igbo, Ndebele, Luganda, Shona, Swahili, Urhobo, Wolof and Yoruba. You can view all our resources over on our shop.

Our flashcards have been designed as an introduction to different African languages and are aimed at children and toddlers. However, based on customer feedback, we have found that the cards support adults that may be learning one of the African languages we offer through a course or self taught online content, by increasing their word bank.

After careful consideration, we decided not to include pronunciations. Our aim is to preserve linguistic heritage and encourage language speakers to spend quality time teaching the next generation. Our products are meant to foster a safe space within homes where dialogue can start to develop with younger ones about their roots and identity.  

Rudorwaishe takes pride in providing culturally representative and engaging materials for children. We work closely with a range of educators and native speakers to help ensure our cards are as accurate as we can possibly make them. Additionally, we aim offer a diverse range of languages, including lesser-spoken ones, which sets us apart from many other language learning platforms.
